As the name suggests, trikatu is a combination of three (tri) spices or herbs that are hot (katu). Trikatu powder is a combination of 3 botanical herbs powder – Soonth (Sunth/ Ginger – Zinziber officinale), Kali miri (Black pepper – Piper nigrum), Pippali (Long pepper –Piper longum), in equal quantity.
